Situated at the meeting point ofseveral major avenues and extremely well served by publictransport such as metrobus. Rising on the corner of E-5YanYolu and 1993. CD streets. TheFERAH distinguished itself as a strategic location for the insertion of this newcommercial enterprise of the future city centerside of Istanbul. It was a great challenge to design aninviting and open office building instead with two glassblocks. To achieve this we designed one large buildingattracting the attention from E-5 Yanyolu street with fourpublic inner roof Garden. The project’sarchitectural design approach is inspired by the site’s shape so weworked with a continuous gradual façade on theback side, thus conferring a special outdoor space tothe surroundings by pushing the building back to maximumsetback.
Its dynamic, at street level shiftedfloors and massing backwards and forwards maximizes viewsfor all of the building’s users while alsocreating expansive open spaces “sky gardens.” Intermediatefloors, which could turned into attractive meetingareas that encourage the possibility for interaction, recreation, knowledge sharing and vertical connectivity. Inother side The string of terraces wrapping back of thebuilding expand the daily life of the tenants to theoutside air and light. The building designed for the peoplethat occupy it. Rising 51m above the site environment, our design seeks to help delivering a buildingthat not only responds to its urban context, but also deliverspremium office space in a newly createdIstnabul vision. In territory defined
architecturally,Ferrah arranges 4000 square meter of new retail space atbasement, ground and first floor below optimised officefloorplates totalling 20,000 square meters across fourteenfloors.
